My my My my

Dear Friends and New Members,

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome back all Winter Club members and families for another year.  In particular, I would like to introduce myself to all the new members, and welcome them to the club.

I am Bruce Bartolo, the rink manager, and I am really looking forward to seeing all of you again, and meeting new members when the club opens this season.  Please, take a few minutes and introduce yourself to me and the staff as you are getting yourself acquainted with the club, and I will try to do the same.  If you have any questions concerning the rink operation, rules, customs or even how the Zamboni works, I'm always happy to talk.  I have been with the Winter Club for over 30 years now, and it's become a significant part of me...so please don't be shy; I'd be happy to share anything I know of club history, the pond...whatever!

Please note, we will only have 10 minutes between sessions to Zamboni the rink.  The standard for most every rink in America is 10 minutes, so with everyone's cooperation, this shouldn't have any affect on your sessions, classes, games, etc.  WHEN THE ZAMBONI DOORS OPEN, PLEASE LEAVE THE ICE RIGHT AWAY so we can stay right on schedule for the next group. We have a standard clock right on the scoreboard so skaters can always know the correct time - and clear the ice so the Zamboni can do its work.

On behalf of myself and the staff, WELCOME!

                                                              - Bruce
