Clark Jones
Director of Hockey
Clark has served as the NCWC Director of Hockey since 2016. Clark heads up the Bantam AA and Squirt AA teams at the Winter Club. He has also previously coached the PeeWee A and PeeWee AA teams.
Playing Career – Exeter High School, Deerfield Academy, Union College (Captain) NCAA Division 1 (1997-2001). Played professionally for the St. Louis Blues and Ottawa Senators minor league affiliates.
Coaching Career – Clark has been coaching since 2003 previously at Mid-Fairfield, as a Skills Instructor at Elite Hockey Camp, BU Hockey Camp, and Phillips Exeter Academy Hockey Camp, and at the New Canaan Winter Club since 2009. Clark is the Hockey Director at the New Canaan Winter Club, Head Coach for the New Canaan High School Boys Varsity team, and Founder, Owner & Head Skills Coach of Hockey Skills Academy
Christi Jones
Director of Figure Skating
Christi has served as the Director of Skating since 2014 and has been coaching at the New Canaan Winter Club since 2010. Christi also serves as the Director of the NCWC Mite Development Program and Power Skating head pro.
Over the course of her competitive amateur career, Christi trained in St. Louis MO, Dallas TX, Madison WI, Denver CO and in Colorado Springs at the Broadmoor. Since 1996, Christi began working with skaters all over the Midwest. She has worked with a range of skaters from beginners to National competitors and players. She was the Skating Director at the Ice Zone (previous practice facility of the St. Louis Blues), and helped to develop the figure skating program at the acclaimed Shattuck-St. Mary’s School in Minnesota. Christi is a former Strength and Conditioning coach, Metabolic Typing Advisor, and Holistic Lifestyle coach. She holds Golds in Figures, Free skate, and Field Moves. She is a graduate of Principia College with a BA in Fine Arts.
Justin Bartolo
Rink and Clubhouse Manager
The Operations team, led by Justin Bartolo, act under the direction and with the authority of the Board of Governors. They make it look easy, but there is a lot of hard work and long hours that goes into making the Club operate smoothly. It is a difficult task to run the daily schedule of NCWC, the programs, machinery, equipment and the clubhouse for the safe enjoyment of the membership. Cooperation and respect are essential.

Thank You Bruce
The Board and Membership will be forever grateful to Bruce Bartolo who has been part of the New Canaan Winter Club for over 50 years, mostly in the capacity of Rink Manager. During that time, Bruce and his staff have worked tirelessly to ensure our outdoor rink has thrived in all weather conditions. We are especially lucky that Bruce has passed down all of his knowledge over the years and this extends to his son Justin Bartolo who now serves as the full time rink manager.
