The New Canaan Winter Club is a family-focused community of members.  Parents and children can delight in the magic of skating outdoors each November through March.  Rich in history, the Club offers a unique and Norman Rockwell-like setting for all ages.  A wide variety of programs is offered to skaters and players at all levels:  learn to skate programs, hockey skill development, competitive travel hockey teams, house hockey leagues, figure skating, adult hockey and skating lessons, and more.  While the many class offerings offer a breadth of structured options to members, it is often the open and general skate times that members find most notable about their time at the Club.  Skating early on a peaceful weekend morning, with classmates after school, or on a weekend evening when the ice is bustling with tweens and teens, the idyllic setting and outdoors atmosphere makes for a distinct and memorable life experience for families.

The New Canaan Winter Club is a private club.  Prospective members require the support of four or more existing members prior to applying to the club.  Each candidate should identify a Proposer who will help oversee the admissions process, assist with collection three additional letters and be the point of contact with the Membership Committee.  Once a proposer has been identified, the candidate should complete the membership application and submit to the proposer.
