NCWC runs on the strong community of volunteers. The NCWC Board recently dedicated the new Scoreboard to Ken Gammill, Jr., for over 30 years of dedication and leadership.
Whether on the bench, in the locker room, at board meetings, or just rink side, Ken gives his time, energy, and passion to others. Ken has spent much time watching the NCWC scoreboard each season, observing and coaching thousands of games beginning in 1992, the board thought this was a fitting moment to honor Ken. Ironically, Ken may not have ever run the scoreboard, as he is typically on the bench coaching the game.
Ken’s leadership continues off the ice. He is also the longest-standing Board member, serving for many years before his term as Board President from 2008-2013 and continuing on today as President Emeritus. Ken’s commitment to the board has been unprecedented for 25 years! Many thanks to Ken and to all volunteers who participate to make NCWC a special family oriented Club.
